<\/strong>Weleda Skin Food<\/a> is the answer to dry skin. Skin food is so nourishing, hydrating and protective for dry and rough skin. The product is marketed as a treatment for dry skin, but here at Vive we use it as general maintenance for hands and arms.<\/p>\n

The cream is rich and thick and can even be used as a night face cream in winter months because of its rich hydrating qualities. The Weleda Skin Food is rich because of the sweet almond oil, sunflower oil and hypoallergenic lanolin. It also contains herbal extracts of chamomile, marigold, wild pansy and in addition there is a blend of enriching oils.<\/p>\n

Weleda’s heritage dates back to the 1920s in Switzerland, when philosopher Dr Rudolf Steiner and Dr Ita Wegman developed anthroposophic medicine. This form of medicine encourages the individual to see his or her body, mind and spirit as intrinsically linked to our world; all part of one holistic system. Steiner and his team of dedicated scientists and doctors understood that a human body has a remarkable ability to heal itself, but sometimes it needs a little help. So they developed a personal approach to health care using natural ingredients that can holistically work with and support our own body’s healing tendencies.<\/p>\n

To sum it up this is the perfect rich cream that can be used on the face, neck, hands, knees and will even rescue dry cracked feet.
