This list wouldn\u2019t be the same without a quote from her. In an interview with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canberratimes.com.au\/act-news\/canberra-life\/sarah-wilson-says-to-eat-your-scraps-in-new-book-simplicious-20150921-gjrk8z.html\">Canberra Times<\/a> she said: \u201cPeople have been asking me for years, \u2018look can you just cut to the chase, how can I be healthy? What\u2019s the one thing I can do?\u2019 \u2013 and I say learn to cook properly. Be there!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Remember too that health is all about balance. Popular Australian nutritionist and <a href=\"http:\/\/changinghabits.com.au\">Changing Habits<\/a> founder and blogger Cyndi O\u2019Meara provided this wonderful pearl of wisdom: \u201cEating fat, sugar and salt is not necessarily bad! It all depends on the quality. Choose unprocessed forms as these elements all play a part in our wellness.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><b>Good ol\u2019 fashioned advice<br \/>\n<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Blogger Lee Sutherland, of <a href=\"http:\/\/fitnessinthecity.com.au\">Fitness in the City<\/a> gave this <a href=\"http:\/\/nadiafelsch.com\/2014\/10\/07\/inspiration-insider-lee-sutherland\/\">great piece of advice<\/a>: \u201cJust start. Don\u2019t wait for Monday or for that perfect moment, just take small steps towards a healthier, happier life now. Whether that\u2019s adding more water into your diet and less soft drink, or swapping a chocolate for some berries, not skipping meals or even teaching yourself to swap negative thoughts for some ass-kickin\u2019 loving ones \u2013 just start.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re fans of Australian nutritionist and blogger Tara Leong from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vivehealth.com.au\/blog\/2015\/08\/02\/5-health-and-wellness-blogs-you-should-follow\/\">The Nutritionist &amp; The Chef<\/a> and have featured her on the blog before. Her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.movenourishbelieve.com\/interviews\/sporty-sister-week-tara-nutrition-guru-chef\/\">simple advice to those wanting to get healthy<\/a>?\u201d \u201cEvery little thing you do to be healthy is contributing to your goal. You don\u2019t HAVE to drink green smoothies with bee pollen every morning, nor spend a fortune of protein powders or superfood bars. Just move your body each day and eat lots of fresh foods.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>US-based health and wellness author, speaker and coach Holli Thompson in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.projecthealthyhappyme.com\/holli-thompson-prioritise-you\/\">an interview<\/a>: \u201cMy non-negotiables are 1) Greens each day. Usually in the form of a juice or smoothie 2) Get at least 7-8 hours sleep. Lack of sleep is the fastest way to get foggy brain, gain weight and feel low energy. 3) Move, hopefully each day, but at least 5 times a week. The gym might be 20 minutes away and 40 minutes of your day wasted, plus you have to do your workout. I get how people don\u2019t have time but\u2026 you can literally get a few pieces of equipment up in your lounge room and do it.
