{"id":923,"date":"2012-12-21T00:30:34","date_gmt":"2012-12-21T00:30:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vivehealth.com.au\/blog\/?p=923"},"modified":"2012-12-21T00:30:34","modified_gmt":"2012-12-21T00:30:34","slug":"christmas-panforte","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.vivehealth.com.au\/blog\/2012\/12\/21\/christmas-panforte\/","title":{"rendered":"Christmas Panforte"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n2 sheets Rice paper<br \/>\n100g Almonds<br \/>\n60g Hazelnuts<br \/>\n60g Pecans<br \/>\n30g Pistachios<br \/>\n60g Dried Apricots, roughly chopped<br \/>\n60g Turkish Figs, roughly chopped<br \/>\n70g Prunes<br \/>\n30g Sultanas<br \/>\n30g Mixed Peel<br \/>\n1 cup Gluten free flour<br \/>\n175g Honey<br \/>\n175g Sugar<br \/>\n2 tsp Ground Cinnamon<br \/>\n1 tsp Ground Ginger<br \/>\n1 tsp Mixed Spice<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Method<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n1) Preheat oven to 180C<br \/>\n2) Line a 20cm square tin with non-stick baking paper, and arrange rice paper in the base<br \/>\n3) Combine nuts and lightly toast on a tray in the oven (approx 5-10 mins)<br \/>\n4) Combine dried fruit in a large bowl<br \/>\n5) Sieve dry ingredients into bowl with fruit, add warm nuts<br \/>\n6) Combine dry ingredients with fruit and nuts and mix until evenly covered<br \/>\n7) In a saucepan bring sugar and honey to the boil. Then add to the rest of the ingredients<br \/>\n8) Work all ingredients together until well combined.
