{"id":3429,"date":"2016-11-29T05:08:10","date_gmt":"2016-11-29T05:08:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vivehealth.com.au\/blog\/?p=3429"},"modified":"2016-11-29T05:08:10","modified_gmt":"2016-11-29T05:08:10","slug":"speaking-the-truth-say-it-with-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vivehealth.com.au\/blog\/2016\/11\/29\/speaking-the-truth-say-it-with-love\/","title":{"rendered":"Speaking the Truth &#8211; Say it with Love"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is known that \u201cspeaking the truth will set you free\u201d. \u00a0The importance of speaking one\u2019s truth is key to being free; however it is also important to say it with love and good intentions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vivehealth.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/heart-wave.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-2772 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vivehealth.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/heart-wave.png\" alt=\"heart wave\" width=\"391\" height=\"286\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vivehealth.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/heart-wave.png 700w, https:\/\/www.vivehealth.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/heart-wave-300x219.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 391px) 100vw, 391px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Over the many years of seeing Clients and teaching Kinesiology\u00a0and Reiki\u00a0Students,\u00a0I have\u00a0witnessed how some\u00a0people struggle to speak their truth in the beginning of their journey.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Finding one\u2019s voice is very powerful.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Have you ever experienced a moment where you just couldn&#8217;t bring yourself to\u00a0say what you really wanted to say? \u00a0It might be that you really just don\u2019t like pumpkin, yet you still continue to eat it so you don\u2019t offend the cook or perhaps something on a deeper\u00a0level.<\/p>\n<p>Often when people don\u2019t speak their truth it is also about how they feel about themselves and not wanting to \u2018rock the boat\u2019.\u00a0 You may\u00a0feel you\u00a0want to chat with someone\u00a0about it, but\u00a0fear comes into the picture and prevents this.\u00a0 You may be fearful\u00a0of\u00a0potentially\u00a0feeling judged or\u00a0making others feel uncomfortable for example.<\/p>\n<p>The concern with not saying anything is it can become like a form of congestion. \u00a0It\u2019s potentially impacting your wellbeing as it is unresolved. Without the appropriate level of communication about a situation, event or feeling, it\u00a0can\u00a0at times\u00a0be perceived to be\u00a0so much more than what it is in reality.<\/p>\n<p>This can lead to all kinds of feelings and emotions that can be blocking you in some\u00a0form. \u00a0At times,\u00a0not saying anything seems to be the only solution. \u00a0However by not\u00a0expressing\u00a0what you need to say\u00a0may be causing you to feel uncomfortable\u00a0in your own being. Maybe you really just cannot get the\u00a0words out, and\u00a0that can happen in times of stress.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vivehealth.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Picture41.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-3109 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vivehealth.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Picture41.png\" alt=\"Picture4\" width=\"399\" height=\"299\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vivehealth.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Picture41.png 402w, https:\/\/www.vivehealth.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Picture41-300x225.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 399px) 100vw, 399px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When releasing words that have been stuck for some time it is a good practice to always centre yourself, and feel love throughout your body, then speak your truth. \u00a0This provides a more loving space for the words to be shared.<\/p>\n<p>Holding on to old hurts or unspoken words can cause such grief and unwanted emotions that aren\u2019t helpful in being the best\u00a0version of\u00a0you.<\/p>\n<p>There is a real sense of freedom to be able to speak your truth and really set yourself free from the unnecessary untold truths that have been\u00a0possibly\u00a0holding you back. \u00a0Being able to express your truth and communicate effectively in a loving and honest way is supporting your\u00a0own healing\u00a0and wellbeing. \u00a0You are worthy of sharing your thoughts, feelings and experiences.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Take a moment, breathe, and know you want to be free of this unspoken burden. \u00a0Make the commitment to\u00a0kindly and\u00a0lovingly speak your truth, unburden yourself and allow freedom to flow.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Below are some techniques that may help you to be able to say what you need to share. Remember to always say your truth from a loving space filled with good intentions.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps writing it down is a good start for you,\u00a0and then\u00a0you have the options of;\u00a0visually letting it go, saying it aloud (best option in most cases)\u00a0or perhaps shredding it, these are just a few examples.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe it is the best option for you to say\u00a0it\u00a0out loud.
