Linda has been counseling at the core of her Naturopathic practice for over 10 years. She formalized this aspect of practice with a Psychology qualification in 2006, and has taken great joy in shaping her practice to address all aspects of mental and emotional wellness.
Linda seeks to treat the whole picture of wellness: physical, environmental, mental, emotional and spiritual, including:
• Neurotransmitters (good brain chemistry)
• Hormones (e.g. thyroid, adrenal, male and female)
• Biochemical pathways (such as pyroluria, histamines)
• Food allergy and sensitivity
• Toxicity, such as heavy metals which alter brain function
• Thinking patterns, schemas and cognitive strategies
• Relationships
• Meditation
• Spirituality and philosophy
Her areas of concentrated experience and passion are thyroid disorders; adrenal fatigue; depression; anxiety and hormone imbalances.
With the fortune of working with Suzanne Goodchild, Robert Henderson and some of Brisbane’s best Natural Medicine practitioners, 12 years, Linda has honed practical knowledge beyond standard psychology, and gained a degree of the respectful ‘non-glossed’ approach to effective guidance and health management.
Linda makes it her goal to stimulate growth, eliminate baggage, and equip her clients with the best take-away tools for positive change and continued development.
Linda works with one-on-one as well as couple and family relationships counseling.

Matt’s health career began in the fitness industry back in the mid 90s where he worked as a fitness instructor both in Australia and England. It was while working with clients in England that Matt recognised a considerable variance in performance, achievement and the recovery of individuals. With a desire to help these people achieve, Matt developed a greater interest in nutrition and discovered the value of herbal medicine. In 2000 Matt graduated in Naturopathy from the Australian College of Natural Medicine followed by a Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) from Charles Sturt University in.
With a passion for food and organic growing methods, new business partner Marilyn Lemaire and Matt began the dream to own and operate an organic health food centre that focused on clinical practice.
Both Marilyn and Matt spent almost 2 years planning and designing the current Vive retail store. In 2011 Vive is now into it’s 6th year of business and has grown into a successful health food and clinical business. Vive now has a well respected name for both service and professional knowledge for customers and clients.
vivehealth.com - Shortly after opening it was realised that in order to fully cater for our customers, a need arrived for Vive to move online and offer products for sale through the internet. As customer and client demand has grown for online trading, so too has the pressure to complete our business model by offering our customers the added value of being able to shop online.
Following the successful launch of the Vive Health online shopping site Matt has now devoted his time and knowledge back into his clinical work.
Look great and feel great! Matt now, similarly to his early days in the health industry, focuses his clinical work with those that struggle to reach their dreams and goals. By bringing together his 15years of experience of health and fitness, nutrition and herbal medicine, Matt’s passion now lies with the concept that we CAN control the rate with which we age both physically and mentally. He has an active interest in helping people not only look great but to feel amazing from the inside out. Matt’s clinical concept is about the complete wellness package where he is committed to helping people not only look fantastic and combat the processes of ageing but help individuals feel strong, motivated and full of energy. Through personal exercise planning and the integration of unique nutrition and wellness concepts, Matt believes he can achieve optimal health, wellness, energy and age prevention for his clients.
Matt is currently re-registering with Fitness Australia and will complete his Cert IV in personal Training in the near future. His areas of special interest include immune systems, energy systems and fatigue prevention. He considers nutrition, diet and exercise prescription important components of healthy aging and prescribes accordingly with these values in mind!
Megan has always held an interest in food (not only enjoying eating also years of home cooking) along with health, fitness and exercise. Megan was drawn to natural therapies as they can be used for so many conditions, not just one illness/condition with rarely the side effects pharmaceutical drugs have, ensuring an enhanced transition to good health via a holistic approach to treatment strategies.
Megan has been a legal secretary for many years, but her passion for food and health led her to study nutrition. She studied part time for seven years and completely understands the pressure of full time work/part-time student and the impact this can have on energy, stress levels, immune support, general wellness and wellbeing.
She believes that good diet, exercise and lifestyle changes alone can often be enough to combat many illnesses and diseases with prevention always being better than cure. Many conditions can be triggered due to nutritional deficiencies and Megan likes to focus on bringing these nutritional deficiencies into balance within the body using food as medicine, nutritional supplements, exercise and lifestyle prescriptions.
She considers good food and a healthy lifestyle as extremely important however so too is enjoying life, therefore achieving good health should be about creating a nutritional and lifestyle balance.
Megan likes to help people achieve good health by equipping them with nutritional knowledge whilst also providing individually tailored dietary/lifestyle plans, cooking tips and recipes. Her areas of special interest include diabetes, women’s health, skin conditions, healthy weight loss, immune systems and stress management.
Melissa is a qualified naturopath, massage therapist and speech pathologist whose passion lies in herbal medicine and nutrition. Melissa completed her degree in Melbourne as a naturopath and moved to Brisbane in 2005.
Melissa worked as a speech pathologist for 8 years in Melbourne and the UK before realising her passion lay in natural medicine. Her aim is to now be at the other end of the healthcare system – educating and treating people holistically and using preventative medicine rather than a disease orientated approach. With her knowledge and experience of working in hospital settings, Melissa understands the complexities of treating chronic illness and symptoms of vague origin that have no medical diagnosis.
Melissa has a special interest in assisting women and children to gain better health since her own journey into motherhood began in 2007.
Marilyn Lemaire
For the last 25 years Health Foods and Herbal Medicine have been two of Marilyn’s favourite interests. Marilyn's interest in health foods began in Canada and then after immigrating to Australia she completed a Bachelor of Naturopathy.
Marilyn has been owner and part owner of health food stores for the last 15 years and now spends the majority of her time working in the store and behind the scenes to help ensure the smooth flow of the administration of the store.
The prevention of poor health through great nutrition and necessary supplements is one of Marilyn’s main interests. Helping individuals cope with stress and prescribing herbs that are effective in supporting a person through stressful times is another area that inspires Marilyn.
Marilyn is the mother of a young adult who has been gluten intolerant for the past 4 years so along the way she has learnt how to pack those school lunches and how to feed teenage groups gluten free food that tastes superb.
For Marilyn it is a very rewarding profession and also rewarding to be part of a team that is qualified to help each individual that comes into the store with each of their health needs.
