What is Naturopathy?

Naturopathic medicine is a holistic approach to health care, offering individualized treatment based on natural principles and supported by research-based evidence. This includes optimising diet and lifestyle practices, with the use of herbal medicine and nutriceuticals where appropriate.

A little about me…

I believe we were designed to live, feel and be elite. This doesn’t mean a perfect life, diet or exercise regime. It simply means investing, on a daily basis, in providing nourishment for our bodies, enabling them to reach the potential they were created for.

I am passionate about helping people achieve health through aforementioned holistic, natural, and evidenced based treatment. Investing time to understand your current health climate is a priority of mine as a practitioner as this allows the formation of a treatment plan that facilitates healing specifically for you. It’s individual, personal, professional.

I love understanding the physiology and biochemistry of the body, and value investing my time in furthering my knowledge in this facet. I believe that an understanding of the body on a functional level improves clinical treatment outcomes and efficacy exceedingly.

As a Naturopath I take particular interest in chronic inflammatory conditions such as auto-immunity, cardiovascular and metabolic health, thyroid health, chronic fatigue, hormonal balancing, and gut health.

I have a Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc.) in Naturopathy, which includes Western Herbal Medicine and Nutritional Medicine and am registered with the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA).
