Keep mornings fresh with these healthy smoothie recipes – Part 1

We understand that keeping a balanced diet can be difficult when you work a busy schedule five days a week. So why not try our Monday to Friday breakfast smoothie program to detoxify, energise and cleanse? These recipes are great to share with a friend or partner, and the fruit can be sliced and frozen in ziplock bags to save time on busy weekdays.

Monday: Shake off the weekend with this detoxifying smoothie.

Ingredients:
2 cups fresh organic spinach
2 cups water
2tbsp Vital Greens
½ cup organic pineapple
½ cup organic kiwi fruit
½ cup organic banana

Method: Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high for 2-3 minutes until smooth.

 

Tuesday: A clean body makes a keen mind – a smoothie for brain function.

Ingredients:
2 cups fresh organic spinach
1 cup water
1 tsp Vital Greens
2 organic oranges, peeled
1 knob ginger
1 organic beetroot, skin removed

Method: Combine spinach, water and Vital Greens in a blender and blend on high for 1 minute until mostly smooth. Using a knife, chop the remaining ingredients into smaller chunks on a chopping board before adding to the blender. Blend on high for 3-4 minutes until smooth.

 

Wednesday: Get over the hump with slow release energy from Amazonia Raw Energy powder.

Ingredients:
2 cups organic peaches, sliced
2 cups coconut milk or Bonsoy soy milk
2 heaped teaspoons Amazonia Raw Energy
Handful dried goji berries
Optional: 2 tbsp yoghurt or coconut yoghurt

Method: Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
