Keep Mornings Fresh with These Healthy Smoothie Recipes – Part 2

It’s normal get a little sluggish as the week draws to a close, but making sure your diet is packed with fresh organic fruits and vital greens can help to reduce the lethargy and give a revitalising lift to your week. In our last post we looked at three breakfast smoothies that add that extra organic punch to your week mornings. Now, let’s have a look at some wickedly healthy Thursday and Friday treats – because it’s been a long week, and we think you’ve earned it!

 

Thursday: Little luxuries get us through the week. Reward yourself with a dash of cacao in this comforting, chocolaty berry smoothie.

Ingredients:
2 cups frozen mixed berries
2 cups coconut milk or Bonsoy soy milk
Handful cranberries
Handful dried goji berries
1 tsp Amazonia Raw Energy
1tbsp Power Cacao Powder
1 tbsp honey

Method: Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high for 2-3 minutes until smooth.

 

Friday: The weekend is nearly here! Kick off to a tasty start with this ever-so-slightly indulgent spiced-up banana chai dream.

Ingredients:
2 cups frozen organic banana
2 cups Bonsoy soy milk
1 tbsp honey
½ tsp cinnamon
Pinch nutmeg
Pinch ground cardamom

Method: Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
